Judging Criteria:

  • Processes in place to promote safety and hold all employees accountable for creating a safe workplace.  
  • Leadership’s commitment to continuous improvement in their safety management systems through ongoing evaluation of both internal and external factors that impact health and safety of company employees and customers.  
  • Demonstrable training and awareness in the areas of hazard identification and control.  
  • Established health and safety processes and new safe job practices and procedures within your workplace.  
  • Disclosure of, and demonstrated effective response to, any health and safety related events in the previous 12 months. You may also provide your Total Recordable Injury Frequency (TRIF), or other relevant safety statistics.
