Scarcity-based thinking is a step backwards
Saskatoon, SK – Mayoral candidate Charlie Clark recently held a press conference to speak out against an ‘NSBA proposal’ which in fact was a questionnaire the NSBA circulated to mayoral candidates. The question was if, as Mayor, they would support lowering the premium commercial and industrial property owners presently pay of 175% to 143% over a 16-year period. He went on to reference the policy as a tax ‘shift’ from businesses to residents.
