The NSBA congratulates Premier Designate Scott Moe on successful election campaign
The NSBA would like to congratulate Premier Designate Scott Moe on his election as leader of the Saskatchewan Party and Premier of Saskatchewan. With five strong candidates for the role and a long campaign period, the NSBA believes the perseverance and work ethic required to win the confidence of the Party membership will stand our province in good stead for the future.
“We offer our sincere congratulations to Premier Designate Moe,” said Keith Moen, Executive Director of the NSBA. “Having closely observed the campaign – including hosting all five candidates at a luncheon event – we can confidently say that the province is in good hands moving forward with Scott Moe as Premier.”
The NSBA looks forward to working with Premier Designate Moe and continuing its relationship with the Provincial Government. In particular, the NSBA looks forward to discussions surrounding issues such as the upcoming provincial budget, the Saskatchewan Climate Change Strategy, government procurement, and a future Saskatoon perimeter freeway.
“The NSBA has enjoyed a good, constructive relationship with the provincial government during the tenure of Premier Wall,” said Mr. Moen. “We are confident of continuing that relationship with Premier Designate Moe as we work on a number of files that are of great importance to our membership.”
