Partnership Event Series: How Saskatchewan Gets Heard With A Minority Government

With the results of the 2019 federal election producing a minority government without any representation in the provinces of Saskatchewan and Alberta there are lingering questions about how voices of individuals in all parts of the country will be heard in parliament and cabinet. Our panel will feature strategists from Canada’s three most prominent political parties (Rick Anderson – Conservative, Chris Ball – NDP, and Jamie Miley – Liberal) to answer the question of how the voices of Saskatchewanians will be heard in this new landscape. The panel will also touch upon the dynamics of the new federal cabinet (to be announced on November 20th) and what these appointments mean for Saskatchewan priorities.

The Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce and the NSBA Partnership Event Series features speakers and topics of interest to the entire Saskatoon business community. Our organizations take pride in representing the concerns of businesses in Saskatoon and fostering a strong community for our members in recognition that two voices for business are better than one!
