The Impact, History, and Future of the Canola Industry in Canada with Jennifer Marchand, Associate Vice President, Cargill Limited
Jen grew up on a farm outside of Radisson and proudly attended the U of S. She began her career with Cargill in January of 1998 and over the last 24 years has held a variety of roles in the grain and oilseed processing industry and has led teams spanning North America. She has represented Cargill and the industry externally with government and public stakeholders on multiple boards including the Canola Council of Canada (where she was recently elected Chair), Cereals Canada, The Western Grain Elevators Association, Food and Beverage Canada, Canada Grains Council and the Canadian Oilseed Processors Association. She currently is the Associate Vice President of Cargill Limited and leads Government and Industry Relations supporting all of Cargill’s diverse businesses in Canada. Throughout her career canola has been a common theme, and she is driven to ensuring the success of the entire canola value chain.
