Seeds for Dreams was conceived by eight like-minded professional women who wanted to support growth of local businesses that are owned or led by women.  With unmatched drive to get things done and passion for entrepreneurship, the founders have grown membership to 90 men and women while attracting multiple sponsors, including the NSBA.  These engaged members and sponsors offer the entrepreneurs encouragement, connections and a little cash, boosting small businesses with big dreams.  

The unique pitch & vote format allows local women entrepreneurs to pitch to Seeds for Dreams members who then vote on their favorite pitch. The pitch with the most votes earns the business owner a $100 donation from every member.  Since its first quarterly event April 2017, $90,000 has been raised and distributed.
